1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Prime Electrician for electrical services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all services provided by Prime Electrician, including but not limited to electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

2. Services Description

Prime Electrician provides professional electrical services including:

  • Electrical installation and upgrades
  • Electrical repairs and troubleshooting
  • Wiring and rewiring services
  • Ceiling fan and lighting installation
  • DB board installation and maintenance
  • Electrical safety inspections
  • Emergency electrical services

All work is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with Malaysian electrical safety standards and regulations.

3. Pricing and Payment

Quotations

We provide free quotations for most standard electrical work. Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

For complex projects requiring on-site assessment, a site visit fee may apply, which will be credited toward the final invoice if you proceed with the work.

Pricing

  • Prices quoted are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR)
  • Quotations include labor costs as specified
  • Materials and parts are quoted separately unless stated otherwise
  • Any additional work discovered during service will be quoted before proceeding

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
  • For larger projects, a deposit may be required
  • We accept cash, bank transfer, and major e-wallets
  • Receipts and invoices are provided for all payments

4. Scheduling and Access

Appointments

Appointments are scheduled based on mutual agreement. We strive to arrive within the scheduled time window, but delays may occur due to traffic or previous jobs taking longer than expected.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing safe and clear access to the work area
  • Ensuring someone 18 years or older is present during the service
  • Informing us of any known hazards or special conditions
  • Securing pets during the service visit

Note: If we are unable to access the property or the work area, a return visit fee may apply.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind our work. All labor performed by Prime Electrician is covered by a workmanship warranty:

  • Standard repairs: 30-day workmanship warranty
  • Installations: 90-day workmanship warranty
  • Rewiring projects: 1-year workmanship warranty

Parts and Materials

Parts and materials supplied by Prime Electrician carry the manufacturer's warranty. We can assist with warranty claims for materials we supply.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents
  • Work performed or modified by others after our service
  • Issues caused by power surges or lightning
  • Pre-existing conditions not addressed during service

6. Limitation of Liability

Prime Electrician's liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damage to property not directly related to our work
  • Issues arising from customer-supplied materials or equipment

We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our work. In the event of damage directly caused by our negligence, we will work with you to resolve the issue.

Important: Electrical work involves inherent risks. While we take all necessary safety precautions, customers should ensure their property is adequately insured.

7. Cancellation Policy

Customer Cancellation

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours before the appointment: No charge
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: A cancellation fee may apply
  • No-shows without prior notice: Full call-out fee may be charged

Our Cancellation

In rare cases, we may need to reschedule due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible and work to find a convenient alternative time.

Refunds

Refunds for deposits or prepaid services will be processed within 14 business days of an approved cancellation request.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Prime Electrician website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Prime Electrician and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
